Prizes for Excellence in Children's Media

Might a highly visible contest coax both established media producers and new entrants into the digital learning market? Could such a competition lead to scale-up of the best new products with the support of market-based and government-support? Cooney Center staff are currently examining existing prizes and other incentives to determine which types of recognition could help accelerate children's digital learning, with a special emphasis on promoting effective literacy content for elementary school kids. Details of the Center's Prizes for Excellence in Children's Digital Media will be announced at our inaugural symposium in the spring.
