Ms. Millstone has spent the past fifteen years thinking, writing, and teaching about about the ways new technologies and digital media can transform learning, both at home and at school.  She creates teacher education programs, professional learning workshops for parents and teachers, and online modules on a variety of education- and technology-related topics.  Her current research is focused on the use of digital and video games in elementary and middle school classrooms.

Jessica holds master’s degrees from New York University’s Interactive Telecommunication Program and Bank Street College of Education, where she currently is an adjunct professor of instructional technology.  She is also a presenter for Common Sense Media, providing expert advice to parents and educators on how to help kids think critically, behave safely, and participate responsibly and ethically in our ever-changing digital media world.
