Dr. Shore prepared the Center's inaugural report, The Power of Pow! Wham!: Children, Digital Media and Our Nation's Future, which describes research, practice and policy trends that are shaping new developments in digital media and learning. She is the Adelaide Weismann Chair in Educational Leadership at Bank Street College of Education, where she heads the Educational Leadership Department. As Director of the Laboratory for the Design & Redesign of Schools (LDRS), a university consortium, she oversees a middle-grades school reform initiative. Dr. Shore is the author of What Kids Need: Today's Best Ideas for Nurturing, Teaching, and Protecting Young Children, as well as Rethinking the Brain: New Insights into Early Development and many other monographs and articles.
