Mr. Lowenstein is assisting in the areas of policy, public engagement and fundraising. He is currently earning an M.P.A. degree from Baruch College's School of Public Affairs through the National Urban Fellows program. Previously, David served as Managing Director for the Minority Media & Telecommunications Council, where he directed all financial, staffing, programming and fundraising activities. David has also served as Director of Programs for Russell Simmons's Hip-Hop Summit Action Network, as well as Manager of the National Urban League's Technology Programs and Policy Department, under Hugh Price and Marc Morial. His work experience also includes helping to launch the Civil Rights Forum on Communications Policy, and consulting with the Education Technology Think Tank to pioneer the NetGeneration of Youth Programs.
